Warning
Statmask is not approved by the FDA or the CDC for explicit medical use.
To preserve the efficacy of the N95 mask’s polypropylene static charge filter, using soap & water, isopropyl rubbing alcohol, or bleach may deteriorate the static cling material inside your Statmask. These cleaning methods are a ‘DIY’ adaptation of an industrial sterilization technique used by hospitals. The use of vaporized hydrogen peroxide is a relatively new technique by the medical professionals.
Inhaling Hydrogen Peroxide at potent levels has been known to cause oratory and nasal irritation. Exercise caution and avoid direct contact with eyes.
NEVER use Hydrogen Peroxide stronger than 3%.
If you experience irritation, contact your primary care physician immediately. Perform this routine in a well-ventilated area, away from children or animals.
